Growing colored cotton began thousands of years ago, around 2700BC, in Indo-Pakistan, Egypt and Peru. It grew in natural colors of mocha, tan, gray and red-brown. Today, this naturally colored cotton is grown organically. Known as "Certified Organic Cotton", it is grown in fields which have been free of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers for at least three years.
The cloth made from organically grown cotton creates an alternative for health. Being chemically sensitive, I became acutely aware of the benefits of wearing clothing made from natural fibers. So, in 1995, I created Fisher Henney Naturals and began to design beautiful sleepwear, loungewear, robes and towels out of organic cotton cloth.
As we grow, we continue to strive for the highest level of quality and durability. All our garments, whether "green" or organic cotton, are made from the finest pure combed cotton. With lasting quality, softness and wearability, taking care of the planet has never been so easy!
